What is what an Ultraviolet (“UV”) system? A UV system uses ultraviolet germicidal technology for the eradication of 99% of the airborne and surface dwelling pathogens. These pathogens include:

Solutions include:

  • Integration into HVAC using airflow pathways for large area air cleaning and 99% pathogen eradication

  • Rooftop AHU unit integration for large area air cleaning and 99% pathogen eradication

  • Ceiling and wall mount units intended for occupied and high traffic areas up to 1,000 sq. ft. of coverage, and 99% pathogen eradication

  • Sanitizes unoccupied spaces; includes timer and motion sensor, and 99% pathogen eradication

In March of 2021, the U.S. Government approved a $1.9 trillion economic stimulus package to provide emergency grants, lending, and investment to hard-hit small business so they can rehire and retain working and purchase the health and sanitation equipment they need to keep workers safe. The ARPA was signed into law. A state by state listing of dispersed funds can be found here.

Local education agencies are urged to use ARP ESSER funds to take positive measures towards the reopening and operating of schools, and to effectively maintain the health and safety of students, educations, and other staff, as well as:

  • training and professional development on sanitizing and minimizing the spread of infection diseases;

  • purchasing supplies to sanitize and clean educational facilities;

  • repairing and improving school facilities to reduce rise of virus transmission and expose to environmental health hazards;

  • improving indoor air quality
